Digestive conditions

The digestive system in traditional Chinese medicine is the centre around which the body functions or the ‘middle’ around which everything rotates.  Proper functioning of the “middle” is the key to all aspects of vitality.  What we eat, when we eat and how we eat all effect the efficiency and vitality of our body.  Our diet, alongside the air we breath, is the source of the energy that we use each day.

Acupuncture and Chinese dietary therapy may be useful in helping relieve some of the signs and symptoms of a range of digestive problems:

  • Abdominal Bloating
  • Colitis
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Digestive Problems
  • Gastritis
  • Hemmorrhoids
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Crohn’s disease
